    Question problems with buttons nokia 9300i and j2me

    hi everybody

    i'm developing an app for this device but
    i have a problem with the command buttons
    how i can use the 4 buttons on the right of
    this device because the app than i develop
    just can use one button (and just type: EXIT & CANCEL)
    but my app have to use at least 3 buttons(2 in some Forms 3 in others )
    anybody knows how....

    You create Command objects, and attach them to Displayable object. The device will work out how to assign them to buttons.

    What is the problem?

    i was looking for and i found the problem, is the device it don't show the command button like is, i have to specify the button of the device in my app and i don't know how

    You cannot specify which button.

    You specify the "type" of each command (OK, EXIT, BACK, etc.). The device will decide how to present these to the user.

    This way, the same application works on any device, no matter how many softkeys it has.

    hi

    yes i know that only have to set the type and then the device was decide how put in the screen but that's my problem, my app use two command button but in the device just shows me one i have test it in the emulator of sun and it works, the app it's ok the problem its the device and i don't have another device to test it.

    Do the other Commands appear if you press the "menu" key?

    Try using Command.ITEM.

    with the "menu" command it work but i have to use the 4 buttons of the rigth i am tryin and tryin and i discovered this :

    in my app use "Forms" and i put a "List" type, for test and on this appears the 4 buttons i dont know what else do it

    This is just a quirk of the 9300.

    You cannot make it put the commands where you want. You can use a Canvas, and then you have complete control, but also a lot more work.

    i know than i can't put the buttons but the app is made, and i can't change it but tnx anyway
