    Finding all networks

    Hi,

    I've followed the WLanSampleEx for finding networks. The example uses the following code:

    Code:
    TPckgBuf<TConnMonNetworkNames> networks;
    RConnectionMonitor monitor;
    monitor.ConnectL();
    CleanupClosePushL(monitor);
    TRequestStatus status;
    monitor.GetPckgAttribute( EBearerIdWLAN, 0, KNetworkNames, networks, status ); // EBearerIdWLAN KNetworkNames
    Problem is that TConnMonNetworkNames is limited for presenting 10 networks:
    Code:
    const TUint KConnMonMaxNetworkCount = 10;

    class TConnMonNetwork
         {
         public:
         	inline TConnMonNetwork():iType(0), iSignalStrength(0){}
         public:
             TBuf8< 32 >  			iName;
             TInt8      			iType; 				// see TConnMonNetworkMode
             TUint8					iSignalStrength;
         };

    class TConnMonNetworkNames
         {
         public:
         	inline TConnMonNetworkNames():iCount(0){}
    		inline TUint Count() {return iCount;}
         public:
             TUint            iCount;
             TConnMonNetwork  iNetwork[ KConnMonMaxNetworkCount ];
          };
    Is there a way to get this information directly from a database table?

    Please note I don't want to perform scan. I'm looking for a way to retrieve the already-existing data, and perhpas manipulating it a little bit.

    Thanks,
    Nadav

    Re: Finding all networks

    The WLAN Management API (part of the SDK API Plug-in packs, http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.php/SDK_API_Plug-in) provides some kind of iterator, thus it is free from such numeric limits (like KConnMonMaxNetworkCount=10 or the KConnMonMaxIAPCount=25). However I have never tested if it can really list more networks.
