    signing your application for deamon

    Hi everyone,

i am developing an application that should run in backround and should get every few minutes an connection to a webserver. it also should run on startup.

now i dont know exactly if it is possible with signing. important are running in background and running at startup. should i use express signing or certified signing? or is this application not realisable in either way of signing?

    greetings njk

A little searching would have helped you.

For example, there is a thread Auto Start a MIDLET, in which running MIDlets at start-up is discussed.

Many devices are not capable of this, nor of running in the background.

    thanks for your reply,
i read these 3 sites and now i know there will be no way to get an application running at startup, wouldnt it? it would be so nice to have this feature for my application...
