Carbide Exp With FP2 SDK Development

    Hello guyz!

I wanna develop an app for S60v3 ..
With C++ programing and the Carbide Exp..

I just want to know, if I will use FP2 SDK?
The app will work fine with FP1 as well?

How can i avoid commands that will cause problems at FP2?

    Thanks!
    Ohad.

Compatibility works in the other direction: applications built with FP1 will most probably run on FP2. However if you build applications with FP2, they may use features which are not present in FP1, an obvious example is the support for Middle Soft Key (MSK). It obviously will not appear on an FP1 device.
Also note that there is no "Express" edition any more, Carbide.c++ 2.0 has been relased yesterday, and it is totally free (all 3 remaining versions of it - Developer/Professional/OEM). You may consider switching especially if you are not in the middle of a project yet.
