    Re: the sdk doesn't dial

No problem, except that there is no telephone inside your PC so it would be kind of hard for the emulator to dial out.

Some VoIP based emulation would be nice but such feature is simply not supported (and I guess that would be the nice error you get when attempting to use the telephony APIs - KErrNotSupported)

    Re: the sdk doesn't dial

Emulators do not have phone HW, so you can not make calls with it, instead, you need to try out your application in a real device.

I actually told that you already in your first post: http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...ad.php?t=82565

Yes, that's how the applications get on the phone, by installing them from a signed SIS file.

Arrow Re: [merged] the sdk doesn't dial

    I got the code from
(https://developer.symbian.com/wiki/d...an+OS+Examples) it's in the Telephony zip file
when i add the sis files of this project to a mobile(Nokia73) the installation starts, then I get an error:
"Certification Error .. Connect the application supplier"
how can I solve this problem?

That is actually nice and very well written exmaple indeed, actually as far as I remember it should be signed with self signed certificate, so have a look into platform security & signing pages at the Wiki, and you'll get it working just fine.

    I didn't get the point.
    practically
How to make a sis file a signed sis file?
    Ps.
I changed the setting of the application installation
to be "All" instead of "signed only"
    // on the mobile phone
    and this doesn't help

Re: [merged] the sdk doesn't dial

How about searching (in the SDK docs, in this forum/wiki or in Google) for "signing sis file"? It is impossible not to find some reference to signsis.exe
