    Re: Nokia 5800/VoIP

    Hello.

Nokia is selling his phones with VOIP publicity...

Why some models have ToIP settings, and the most recent no...

    I had a N95 with ToIP, now I have a 5800XM and I can't make internet call.

I can't understand why Nokia has accepted to remove ToIP, others phones like Iphone do it.
And this is the custommer who choose his phone, not the operators.
Nokia is a well known constructor and isn't dependant to the operators..

So I think Nokia is going to loose customers. Me first.

You, and Nokia, must remember that WE, the customer, is the FINAL user.
I normally don't respond like this but... you missed the point. Nokia does make devices with VoIP just buy one. Put your SIM chip into the unlocked device.

You are trying to force everyone else in the world to accept your personal preferences. You have options but you do not want others to have options.

This thread is closed because it has nothing to do with developing VoIP on Nokia devices.
