The following code...
g.setClip(0, 0, 96, 65); // or (..., 97, 66)
g.drawImage(background, 0, 0, Graphics.LEFT | Graphics.TOP);
...works fine in emulator but image flashes exactly 1 time per second on device. Everything else I draw on top of that image is displayed correctly, even the other images. What could be causing this? I'm sure it's not the image problem because it happens on all b/w non-transparent full-screen sized images.
