    Hi. :D
Sorry for asking this question again. [maybe]
But i cant understand the terms and how-to's
So im just asking to you guys
and answer me in the most simplest way :D

Umm.. I had my phone just this Christmas..
and after i got it, I started downloading some games.
I downloaded my most favorite. When i started it up..
    It said:

    umm. in my own understanding,
i thought i need to free up some space, so i did
    but still doesnt work...
any suggestions how i can resolve my problem? :D

    What phone do you have?

Where is the game downloaded from?

    (And, what is the game?)

    Re: Out of Memory

Your phone has two kinds of memory. There is the kind it stores programs and files in (like the hard disk in your pc) and the kind it runs programs in (like RAM on your pc).

The program is complaining you don't have enough of the "RAM" kind. Deleting files or programs won't help, just as deleting files off your hard disk doesn't increase the RAM in your pc.

Unlike pc RAM, you can't upgrade this memory in your phone. (It's not "flash" memory... that's for files, like a hard disk.)

Looking at the mobile9 site... it's not clear where those games come from, or what phones they're intended for. I know it says it's for your phone, but I doubt it. Phones vary by much more than just screen size. Mobile9 seem to have about five versions of each game, where in reality you need between 50 and 100.

You can get Opera Mini from mini.opera.com, it's free.

Games... I strongly recommend you get from your operator, as then they should have been tested to work correctly on your phone. Most operators have a testing or certification program that games must pass. What network operator do you use?

    Cheers,
    Graham.

    Re: Out of Memory

Hmmm... I don't know why Opera isn't working for you. I'd suggest you post on the Opera Mini forum. Maybe you'd benefit from an older version of Opera.

If you want to know more about your phone's capabilities, you can check out the technical specifications. You have 11Mb of storage for downloaded files and for photos. Applications have 600k of memory to run in. Nokia say the maximum application size if 256k. Obviously, it's no iphone, but it is capable of a lot. The trick is to get the software that has been designed to fit in those restrictions.
