    Hi matx1212,

    welcome to Forum Nokia.

Have a look at the link in my signature, it gives you the first pointers in starting Symbian application development. You have already the correct SDK and Carbide.c++, currently the only supported SDK. As you have noticed however it doesn't support the old SDKs but for them you can find in the Tools archives the "old" Carbide.c++ v1.2.2. You can use that with full support for your SDK and phone.

Which version of Carbide.c++ you install? Carbide.c++ v2 is free. But officially they don't support S60 2nd Edition SDK.

    Re: programming n70 how ?

The previous versions of Carbide.c++ were non-free. UI designer was accessible only in licensed version. That's why it asks for licenses.

"You may use v1.2 or v1.3 licenses on this file if you own a Carbide Developer, Professional, or OEM product."

The page to which I've provided the link also says:
Please contact license.carbide(AT)nokia.com if you have problems.
