    Capture camera from Canvas

Hi does anyone know how to capture camera from Canvas ? When I display camera in my J2me application I pass my won canvas to Video Control - videoControl.initDisplayMode(VideoControl.USE_DIRECT_VIDEO, this);.
Of course I can override paint method but it is only called once. So how Player put the video on the Canvas and is there any possibility to catch it ?

I am sitting jetlagged in an airport, so my brains might not think straight, but are you looking for getSnapshot?
Also which phone are you talking about (on Series 40 phones you need to use capture locator image instead of video for taking snapshots...)

    Re: Capture camera from Canvas

    Hi,

I'm talking about phone Nokia 3110 so serie 40.
I know about getSnapshot function but I wanna avoid using it. Snapshot can provide only about 2-3 ? frames per second and it is video ? I wanna get picture directly from camera but i'm not still sure if it is possible ?
