    send/receive text data to/from java servlet

    Hi

    I need to send text string from my symbian c++ applicaton to same app running on diffrent device via server.
    i tried http connection to read the data from servlet. but have no idea how can i send text data to servlet?

    You can use sockets to communicate between c++ and java app.

    Servlet is web-technology, so it probably expects you to use HTTP POST for sending data. And you can also include arguments in the URL itself, in case of both GET or POST.
