    Re: background image

    now I put the backgroud image, but control area is not painted.
    my control options are "Connect" and "Register", but they are not shown.

    here is my code:

    //create context
    iBgContext = CAknsBasicBackgroundControlContext::NewL( KAknsIIDQsnBgAreaMain,TRect(0,0,1,1), ETrue);
    iBgContext->SetBitmap(KAknsIIDQsnBgAreaMain);
    ...

    _LIT( MbmFile, "\\resource\\apps\\app.mbm" );
    CAknsItemDef* bgItemDef = AknsUtils::CreateBitmapItemDefL(KAknsIIDQsnBgAreaMain, MbmFile, EMbmBackground);
    skin->SetLocalItemDefL(bgItemDef);

    .....

    what is the reason?

    thanks

    Re: background image

    BTW, in which context are you tryig to get this done ? if it is just a background on your container and it does not have controls filling it, then you could use the CFbsBitmsap directly and draw it into the background in Draw function, and if you are trying to use the skins, then you should also utiulize the iBgContext in the Draw..

    Anyway, I'm sure both of thse things do have example in the Wiki, so I would suggest you to search it a bit more..
