    Using index

    Hi guys,

    I'm having troubles with using indexes.

    Code:
    damenu = appuifw.app.menu = [(u"AES",encryptionAES),(u"DES",encryptionDES)]
    something like:
    if damenu's index == 0
    do this
    elif damenu's index == 1
    do that

    apparently i googled and cant find any lessons teaching this

    Here is an example showing use of menu,

    (only listbox use index, not menu)

    Code:
    appuifw.app.menu = [(u"item 1", item1), (u"Submenu 1", ((u"sub item 1", subitem1), (u"sub item 2", subitem2)))]

    Code:
    appuifw.app.menu = [(u"AES",encryptionAES),(u"DES",encryptionDES)]
    If AES is selected - then function encryptionAES is called.
    If DES is selected - then function encryptionDES is called.

    You can but not in the case of this statement.
