    Question native interfaces through WebKit

I am looking at applications written in HTML/JavaScript for the Webkit engine on S60 platform. I want to know if there is any provision for accessing native S60 platform interfaces (such as getLocation, sendSMS, etc.) from within such applications?

The way to do so in Android is by first embedding a 'WebView' instance into an Android activity. Thereafter a two way communication between the application and the web content is enabled using the "addJavascriptInterface" method on the WebView instance (this lets a Java object, along with its methods, accessible inside WebView).

    Re: native interfaces through WebKit

You could check the platform service APIs, and their functionality. It should be documented in the latest WEB developer documentations.
