    [split] Set Download Manager's destination (was Re: Signing an upgrade)

    Hi itomuta,
    Thanks for the details. Is there any way to configure the RHttpDownloadMgr so that the default download path would be always phone memory?

    You can set up the destination for the file but AFAIK you cannot control where the caching happens

    Code:
    TFileName filename( _L(“c:\\temp\\myfile.jpg” );
    download.SetStringAttribute( EDlAttrDestFilename,  filename );
    download.Move();

    If the caching happens on memory card(E:\\) then the Move API will fail for the destination phone memory (C:\\). Y is it happening?

    Re: Signing an upgrade

    Can you be a bit more explicit about how the thing fails?

    Functions such as CFileMan's Rename() only work if the source and destionation are on the same drive so if such API is used underneath download manager's implementation there you have an explanation for the problem.

    I guess that you will have to report this as a bug and implement a workaround regarding moving the file to the C drive.
