    Re: Free system memory

    Hi guys,

    have you tried that code?

I have tried and found that it is not working properly....

in fact I need to compare with EMediaHardDisk in place of EMediaNANDFlash which is different from the link you people have provided.

Is there any way I can report nokia to correct those posts?

or I should hope that some of nokia champion will read my post and do the needful for rest of people.

    Thanks and Regards,
    Digish

    Re: Free system memory

hi digish, it seems warry about you which is memory card driver.
there has a 2 simple way.
    1. just trade E driver as memory card, it seems all s60 phone memory card is E driver.
    2. u can use PathInfo::MemoryCardRootPath get memory card driver.

and like those link, RFsSession::Volume will give you free space data.

    Re: Free system memory

    I am talking about "http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.php/How_to_check_free_space_on_memory_card"
page where it is written that one should use

//if this drive is EMediaNANDFlash,we find drive of Memory card
    but it is not correct.

    Atleast for N78(2 devices)and N79 , for which I have tested.

rather there one should use EMediaHardDisk in place of EMediaNANDFlash.

If that page can be corrected, it may save some time pf other developers.

    Thanks,
    Digish
