    Post Using Camera Light While Taking Photo Using J2M

    Hello All,

    I have developed a small mobile phone application for capturing photos using J2ME. But I am unable to use Flash Light/Camera Light. (I am using Nokia N70)

    Here is the code:

    videoControl = (VideoControl) player.getControl("VideoControl");
    videoControl.initDisplayMode(VideoControl.USE_DIRECT_VIDEO, this);
    videoControl.setDisplayLocation(0, 0);
    videoControl.setDisplaySize(this.getWidth(), this.getHeight());

    Yeah it has to do with Nokia's stubborn refusal to implement most parts of JSR-234 Advanced Multimedia Supplements (AMMS)

    It's wierd because more and more people begin to realize that their phones can run smart software, and Nokia is effectively blocking themselves off from this market. Well at least from the smart multimedia applications ...
