J2ME concurrent voice data processing and voice recording

Can anyone help finding answer to following technical issue in J2ME?

The requirement is the that the data is to be processed live, while the recording happens. When its tried to record voice using Nokia E71, recorded data is not access-able until the recording is stopped. The stream whichever is given for the “RecordControl”, gets populated(streamed) only after the recording is stopped. Is there a way to get live access to already recorded data while recording is happening concurrently?

    With JavaME: Not possible.
A bad workaround is to do the recording in pieces and start do the processing in the background after first snippet is recorded, but most likely this will not work properly as there will be always some kind of break/pause between the subsequent snippets.
