2 applications, 1 sis, 1 private folder, no writeuserdata

    Hello!
There are two exe's in my sis file.
    1st exe is a daemon.
2nd exe - FR, RR, RW - needs access to private folder of a daemon, to delete a single file from it. (It looks like symbian do not clear this folder when upgrading application, when removing - that file will be uninstalled anyway)
Symbian OS rejects two exe's to have save uid3.

Please, help me to remove settings file!

Re: 2 applications, 1 sis, 1 private folder, no writeuserdata

    Hello,
create your setting file in pkg while installation:
    Code:
    "mySetFile" -"!:\private\12345678\mySetFile"
where 12345678 is an UID of exe which should use it.

it can be just an empty file where your file will write your settings.
Thanks to it while uninstalling it will be automatically deleted

    good luck
