[moved] Unable to install two SIS

    Hi,

I'm trying to install two SIS on to my n95, but whenever I try to install the second SIS I get the unable to install message. I can install any of the two onto my phone fine, but when I try to install the other one, it gives me that error. I thought, it maybe that I'm overlapping UID, but it doesn't seem like it.

Here are the packages for both SIS. One is signed using public open sign and the other is self signed.

    Code:

; command-line tools you will need to modify the variables with the appropriate
    ; values: $(EPOCROOT), $(PLATFORM), $(TARGET)

Re: Unable to install two SIS

The installation progress bar gets to about 60-70% and then displays

    "Unable to Install"

I can install the SIS files in any order and the first install will complete successfully, but the second will always give that error message.

I suspect there is some kind of conflict, but I can't seem to find what it is.

I get "Unable to install" .

Is there a way to determine one of the reasons listed below that? Sorry, I'm still learning as I go.

Re: [moved] Unable to install two SIS

What are the UID3/SID values for the two applications? Are they the same as the corresponding package UIDs?

@A.A.M. : He has that line complete, just that you have to browse right of the box.

@Tekkan : Your line of resource in the second package seems to be wrong.

How can I correct the line? The SIS package works on its own. Is it conflicting with the first package?

    Thanks in advance.

    try

    Code:
    "$(EPOCROOT)Epoc32\data\z\resource\apps\E0CCF7A9.rsc"-"c:\resource\apps\E0CCF7A9.rsc"
that is if E0CCF7A9.rsc is the correct filename of your compiled rss file.

Neil, that is a Startup List Management API registration resource and it seems to be correctly installed.

Re: [moved] Unable to install two SIS

Can you please mention which one of the sis files are self signed and open signed?

Please be aware of the fact that Startup List Management API doesnt works with self signed apps.
