    using javascript on client side

    Hi All,

    in a mobile website can i use javascript on client side ? if yes will it be supported on older mobile phones browsers like nokia 6600,7610 and on similar mobiles from other brands like sony-ericsson, samsung, windows mobile etc.

    if no please provide some other way to achieve this. i am developing in java (jsp).

    There is no official supported feature list for S60 browser.from my point of view,nokia 6600 or 7610 should do not support javascript. however,the best way is that you use your target phone to check pages contains javacript.
