    Re: HTML inside a MIDlet

If you want a MIDlet to show/render HTML within the MIDlet, you need to write your own HTML parser, renderer. In other words, you need to write your own browser in Java (there's no browser component part of J2ME).

A MIDlet can also launch the device's default web/WAP browser via platformRequest(), but I suspect that's not what you want.

    Re: HTML inside a MIDlet

You can bundle an HTML file inside a Jar file and you can read it. To render it with MIDP methods, its not possible, but what you can do is, you can write your own implementation for HTML parsing and display content yourself.

If you want to display an HTML file from a server, you can use the browser to display the HTML file from a Web server using platformRequest().
