    Sending silent sms

    Hi all,

I am able to send silent sms for 2nd edition as well as for 3rd edition. I want to know, when a sms is going from the handset an icon is showing at the top(outbox icon) till the sms is send, so can we stop that icon. And if the SIM is a prepaid SIM one flash sms comes after sending the sms telling about the current balance. Can we block this flash sms also? Waiting for your reply. I have tested for 2nd edition and 3rd edition Nokia handset.

    Regards,
    Santu

    Re: Sending silent sms

    Hi,

you cannot control the icon during the sending of sms. As the icons will be comming from the msgbase which is monitoring the message sending and updates the icon as the event proceeds furthur. The api and access to it is not public. Rather you can draw an icon from your application making it blank ..
