    Inputstream file extensions

Does anyone know the allowed file extensions for using getResourceAsStream()?

I so far only found out that .png and .wav work fine. Trying to load files with other extensions always results in a null-object.

So I currently use the .wav-extension to distinguish my raw images from png images. This works well but looks rather stupid.

I use JBuilder8, if that makes any difference.

    RE: Inputstream file extensions

    Hello

It should work with no matter what the extension is,
please try to have a look how the example of pushpuzzle is made.
it is included in Java wireless toolkit and game data is red from res folder.

    LeloProductions,
I am facing the same problem.
However when i use directly the emulator (i.e. open the JAD file with the emulator without using Jbuider) the file is found.
I wonder if you managed to solve the problem?
    Thanks,
    Ziv

    Thanks.
    I read it.
How do you configure the Jbuilder to run from JAR rather than from the output directory?

Set the JAD file in the Run Configuration. (Project Properties)
