how to set arm build targets in carbide

i'm curious as to where i can select or add different arm build targets (armi/thumb) in carbide.c++ v2.0. i have the s60 3rd fp1 sdk installed and only have access to gcce. how do i tell carbide which arm target to build?
i only see emulator debug (armv5 debug and release, which i can't build) and gcce debug/release builds as my selection options.
/sorry, i did some googling, but an answer didn't pop, so i figured asking here would be faster/
    thanks!

3rd edition does not have armi/thumb targets, instead try using the gcce.

Re: how to set arm build targets in carbide

The default build policy for compiling user-side code in symbian is to use Thumb Instruction set. However is you want to generate ARM instructions for you code then you can override this policy by adding BUILD_AS_ARM after you mmp file name in the bld.inf.

Alternativly you can add keyword ALWAYS_BUILD_AS_ARM to you mmp file to achieve the same.

    Hope that helps,
    VJ
