Re: Auto start application will not work

Have you signed your application with Self-signed certificate or with Developer certificate?

Note that Startup List Management API will not work with Self-signed application and it has been documented in that Wiki article.

    Hi,
Check if you have included the capabilities needed for auto start up.I think you need capabilities for it.

Let's make it more manageable. You do not require any such capability for autostarting your application but you must sign your application with developer certificate. And OpenSigned Online will help you in this.

Hmmmmm I like try it with open signed online.
    I was given message:
Dear ******@*****, Your application (****.sis) signing has failed. This may be because it has been flagged as a potential virus by our scanning or because the format of your sis file is incorrect or corrupt. Please try re-building your .sis file and re-submitting.

yes there is a bug in OpenSigning that Flags application with NO capability as VIRUS. so just put some minimal capability to your application.

This is just an idea: maybe the resource file cannot be localised, and must have the .rsc extension?
The Startup List Management API works for me that way.
