    where the recorded files are stored ?

    Hi,

    I have installed and tested call recorder example http://www.forum.nokia.com/info/sw.n..._v1_0.zip.html on Nokia 6670.

    It worked fine, but i'm not able to find the location of the recorded files on my mobile.
    It plays only the last recorded file.

    Does it saves all the recorded files somewhere or simply overwrites the same file again and again for each operation?

    Hello,
    somewhere in the code you have got:
    Code:
    TFileName tFullPath;
    CompleteWithAppPath(tFullPath);
    as you can read in aknutils.h:
    /**
    * CompletePathWithAppPath
    * All the components that are specified in the given descriptor (drive letter,
    * path and file name, including extension) are put into the result;
    * any missing components (path and drive letter) are taken from the app's path.
    *
    * Can be used e.g. to load a bitmap file when an application don't know where
    * it has been installed.
    *
    * Example1:
    * TFilename fname = _L("\testdir\pics.mbm"); // Use _LIT instead
    * CompletePathWithAppPath( fname );
    * Result:
    * fname == "c:\testdir\pics.mbm" if application was installed to c:
    *
    * Example2:
    * TFilename fname = _L("pics.mbm"); // Use _LIT instead
    * CompletePathWithAppPath( fname );
    * Result:
    * fname == "c:\system\apps\myapp\pics.mbm" if application was
    * installed to c:\system\apps\myapp
    *
    * @param aFileName FileName which will be completed with application's path
    * @return Error code if an error occured. In case of an error aFileName will
    * not be changed
    */
    good luck

    hi nuker,

    i didn't understand it.
    Mobiles doesn't have drives.
    Do u mean to say by C: means, the folder on mobile in which we install the .sis file ?
    and one more thing.......
    you are specifying file name as "pics.mbm", that works fine for one time.
    But in call recording the file is saved each time with different name. how it can be done in this case?

    Re: where the recorded files are stored ?

    well the last recorded files must mostly be in "filemanager -> phone memory or mem card -> Sounds"

    If you want to do it programatically, then your code should know it

    also:
    Mobiles doesn't have drives.
    They do..
    c: drive is the phone memory
    d: drive is generally RAM
    z: drive is ROM image
    e: mem-card or mass storage memory
    so on...
