    Packet Data Connection

    Hi all,

I have a doubt at Packet Data Connection. There is two option 'Always online' and 'When needed'.
When a set option 'Always online', the 'E' (edge) indicator always appears on display. This make several connections to my server faster.

    What really happens?
The mobile phone keeps the connection opened sending some kind of 'keep alive' package to my server, or just keep modem prepared to send data?
