    Re: Configure error

    Hi ,
Have you checked your system date and time? Is it set to correct value? It is seen that many user get the error due to this reason. So you can try after setting it to correct value.

    Hope it works for you.

    Re: Configure error

No, actually I think this is just the standard error that most people have with forgetting/missing the step where you configure Carbide.c++ for command line builds (which is an option on the Windows start menu in the Carbide.c++ group).

Yes this is also possible and 99% chance are there that the error is because of this only.

    Re: Configure error

    Hi,
    Your PATH= is empty!.

    C:\Qt\4.5.0-garden>configure -platform win32-mwc -xplatform symbian-abld

    Environment:
    INCLUDE=
    Unset
    LIB=
    Unset
    PATH=
    so
    PATH=C:\Qt\4.5.0-garden;C:\Qt\4.5.0-garden\bin;%PATH%
is needed on you command start up script
will make sure the "qmake.exe" you will find the path

    path is not found (C:\Qt\4.5.0-garden\bin\qmake)
This is often a problem with Vista see http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph..._Windows_Vista.

    from the install instructions

    3. Environment variables
In order to build and use Qt, the PATH environment variable needs to be extended:

PATH - to locate qmake, moc and other Qt toolsThis is done by adding c:\Qt\4.5.0-garden\bin to the PATH variable.

On Windows the PATH can be extended by navigating to "Control Panel->System->Advanced->Environment variables
    Good Luck

    Re: Configure error

    Hi Jim,

Actually the path looked OK to me (well apart from no Carbide), it just continues on the next line:
    PATH=
    C:\Program Files\CSL Arm Toolchain\bin
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symbian\Tools
    C:\Perl\bin\
    C:\Program Files\PC Connectivity Solution\
    C:\jet4.8-std\bin
    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Document Server 6.0\bin
    C:\WINDOWS\system32
    C:\WINDOWS
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\Wbem
    C:\Program Files\Bitvise Tunnelier
    C:\Program Files\QuickTime\QTSystem\
    C:\Program Files\TortoiseSVN\bin
    c:\qt\4.5.0-garden\bin

    Re: Configure error

I had the same problem, but I solved it.
I fogot one step form the install instruction:

In addition, you must configure the environment for use with the S60
emulator. This is done by locating the Carbide.c++ submenu on the Start
menu, and choosing "Configure environment for WINSCW command line".

Hope it will be helpful for you.
