    Question about the Screensaver Toolkit

    Reading the pdf that (almost) comes with the toolkit, says that I have to model.

    Say I wanted to make it easier. Let's say I create an ani-gif I want to convert. Is there a possibility? This would be much easier for the beginner when it comes to making their very own product they actually can use.

    Thanks for your time.

    Regards, Roger Madsen

    RE: Question about the Screensaver Toolkit

    Uhm.. Thinking about what I wrote made me want to delete the post, but.. hehe (c:

    Of course I meant Animated Screensavers. Tried to look it up searching posts on the forum, but couldn't come up with a proper answer.

    Thanks again! Roger

    Re: Question about the Screensaver Toolkit

    Hi
    I recompile your sample
    and it doesn't display correctly

    problem is in draw procerure

    you get a new random position
    and clear screen
    so, when you at the next time get random position and clear screen again
    the previous one remains unclear

    I think it should be something like this
    Code:
    TInt CScreensaverPlugin::Draw(CWindowGc& aGc)
    {
    ...
      	TRect clearArea = TRect(TPoint(0,pos.iY-KActiveDisplayAreaOffsetUp-1), TPoint(KScreenSizeX,pos.iY+KActiveDisplayAreaOffsetDown+1));
    	// Initialize graphic settings
    	InitializeGraphics(aGc, iPrevArea);
    	// remember this area to erase it in the next draw
    	iPrevArea = clearArea;
    ...
    }
    I try this but it still doesn't work

    May be I missed something but for beginners real working code is very important.

    Thanks to everybody who can patch examples
