    getUid from recordDetected

    Hi,

To develop my midlet, I need to read the UID of a tag in the recordDetected function.

    More precision :
I need to send to my server the UID of the tag read by a mobile phone at the FIRST touch.
The targetDetected function is not call at the first tag touch, so I can't use it (with the PushRegistry)
So, I use the recordDetected function. But this function don't give me information about the target properties.

I have already read this document : http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...d.php?t=113653.
It seems that read the UID of a tag at the first touch is not possible.

    Any information about that ?

Only if your midlet was not running at the time (which is what the discussion is about)! If your midlet is running, then the targetDetected() should be called each and every time.

    Thanks for your response.
I understand that but I need to to read the UID of the tag at the first touch when the midlet is not launched.

I succeed to read UID at the second touch when the midlet is not launched.
I succesd to read UID at the first touch when the midlet is already launched.
I succeed to read the message at the first touch when the midlet is not launched.

But it's not what I want
    Any solution or idea ?

Hi, I hope you have found a solution for your problem.
May I ask you if you had problem with some kind of "invalid application".
I changed already towards MIDP 2.0 Instead of MIDP 2.1.
It resolved some error message but my MIDlet still receives the 'invalid application' notification.
If you had these kind of problem. How did you resoved it ?

Thank you in advance for any answer.
