[moved] 5800 Qwerty Keypad or T9?

    (curious)
    I don't have a 5800 so can't test this yet..

Does the qwerty touchscreen keypad eliminate the need
for predictive text or are people actually using them together?

there is a mode where the input is using number-keypad on the screen, I did not test that though, but I assume it still has the T9 oin there.

I'll have a look on an RDA to see what happens.
    cheers.

    *frustration*

    I found it really awkward!

    -Run 'notes'
    -Open new note
-Double tap screen (well double click anyway!)
-keypad is displayed. (you can either use full or mini keypad)
-Click/touch the [abc] to switch the keypad from qwerty
to the standard multitap/t9 layout (3 chars per button).

This is the first time I've tried it, (and I could be mistaken)
but it looks like the multitap/t9 keypad use is mutually exclusive from the
    mini/full querty keypad.

When I type using the qwerty keypad I don't get any predicted words.

Getting used to a touch screen is one thing, trying to use a touchscreen
through a Windows/mouse clicking RDA interface is even more strange!

I couldn't get prective text to work with the qwerty keypad
but there's no real reason why you shouldn't be able to have word-completion working
with a full keypad. Maybe there's another way to do it...
