How to get Event Alaram Type?

    Hi,

I am developing a application to read and write the pim data in mobile.
I want to know is it possible to retrieve the ALARAMTYPE in the calnedar(not Alaram field in the evnet). In lot of mobiles we can set the Type of the ALARAM as silent or with tone etc. So its possible to get the type the user set for a event alaram.

    thanks

Well, I don't see any field called ALARMTYPE in the JSR75 documentation.

I think it makes sense to check if the ALARM field is set. In that case, for sure there will be a reminder (tone) played.
    Otherwise it will be silent

    Hope that helped

    Hi
Thanks for your reply. I also knows that there is no Fields to get Alaram type in jsr75. As you said in your reply If we checks for the Alaram is set by pim means then how you could attach that Alaram tone to that particular event.(i,e We know alram is set for this field at this time but how to make that alaram sound to play at that particular time with that particular event?)

    thanks ,
