    CellID AT command

    Hello Guys,

    Could you help me?
I'm looking for an AT command which returns cell id of the all base stations in the current area at the moment.

As I know the AT command exists for GSM devices. The command can be different for different devices.

    Best regards,
    Oleg Borzov

    Re: CellID AT command

There probably is no such AT commands (at least not any that work with all phones, and even for those phones where AT commands are used to control the cellular modem, the commands may not be usable from user-installable applications).

    Re: CellID AT command

petrib, Thanks for a prompt reply.
    But the question still remained.

And I have one more question.

I can open DATAPORT::0 and DATAPORT::1 , access to other ports closed by manufacture capability

So, the other question is, which data port can I use for the AT command?

    Best regards,
    Oleg Borzov.

    Hello Yucca,

I used the example. I tried to use DATAPORT::0 - DATAPORT::9 and have the security error if the DATAPORT:: more then 1 (example DATAPORT::6)

Also I try the following AT command
    (example AT%EM=2,3 )

    Best regards,
    Oleg Borzov

    Re: CellID AT command

The port used by the example works nicely for the AT commands, and for other ports I don't have too much idea of what they would be used for.

    Yucca,
    Thank you for help.
Do you know any documentation with description of the ports and full description of the AT commands? I can't find the documents.

    Best regards,
    Oleg Borzov.
