width attribute on tables in XHTML?

Reading in the XHTMLGuidelines.pdf (http://nds1.forum.nokia.com/nds/NDS_TVerification_Interface?path=%2Fdownload%2FXHTML%5FGuidelines%2Epdf) and the XHTML Mobile profile DTD (http://www.wapforum.org/DTD/xhtml-mobile10.dtd) you get the feeling that it's not OK to use the attribute width on the table tag. But in "Example 12" in the XHTMLGuidelines.pdf they use the width attribut on a table tag.
    - Is the DTD lying?
    - Could a browser in a device understand the width attribute even if it's not valid XHTML according to the DOCTYPE?
    - Where do I find the "-//NOKIA//DTD XHTML Mobile +CHTML 1.0//EN" (supposed to be here: http://www.nokia.com/dtd/xhtml-mp-chtml.dtd) refered to in the "Nokia Mobile Internet Toolkit"?
    - Exactly what markup languages are supported/will be supported by Nokia 7650, Nokia 3650 and Nokia 6650?
Many questions... Hope you can help me

RE: width attribute on tables in XHTML?

There is a mistake in the XHTML Guidelines document in Example 12, sorry fot that. "width" attribute has no effect in the <table> elements, it not supported in the XHTML Mobile Profile. We will take care of correcting the example to the next version of the XHTML Guidelines document.

For XHTML Mobile Profile content you should use DTD defined by the WAP Forum, http://www.wapforum.org/DTD/xhtml-mobile10.dtd.

Nokia 7650 and Nokia 6650 WAP browser support WML 1.3. Nokia 3650 has a dual-mode browser supporting XHTML Mobile Profile with WAP CSS and WML 1.x.

    Kind regards,
