    S40 VPN

    Hi,

Is there a way to create a VPN connection on an S40 phone (specifically 6212 Classic)?

    Thanks in advance,
    György

    Re: S40 VPN

If the 6212 does not have built-in VPN support, then the answer is no.

You may be able to write a Java application that uses some VPN algorithms to create an encrypted tunnel for data for that Java application. It won't however, when done that way, be available for any other applications (like the built-in browser, or email client, etc.)

    Thank You.
As far as I know 6212 has no built in VPN support. However my problem seems to be solved, since we will have a separate APN, so there will be no need for VPN.
