    How do I find the OS version on Nokia cellular.

    You cannot find the operating system version as such.

    The model number and firmware version can be found like this:

    Code:
    String platform = System.getProperty("microedition.plaform");
    The String always begins with "Nokia" on Nokias. Other manufacturers' devices may include similar information, or may simply return "j2me" (or even null).

    Hi,

    I dont know about how to get it programmatically but if you only want to get it you can try out *#0000# I have tried this on many of Nokia phones and it works. It will give you the version number.
