    Splash Screen issue for S60 5th edition mobile

    Hi,
    In my application i am unable to display the splash screen in full screen mode, instead these is a circle symbol, can i remove that symbol, if so how? please help me...

    which device you are working with?
    which circle you are talking about?

    make sure that the image size must be equal to the screen size of the device.

    details you ask are as-
    Developer Platform S60 5th Edition
    Operating System Symbian OS v9.4
    Resolution 360 x 640
    Only two handsets are available,

    Hi Raj,

    I already gone through that link, and i tried the 360x640 size splash screen but no use it showing only half of the screen and remaining space is occupied by circle. What can i do

    can you try to hard code the Height and the width of the canvas.

    If i use canvas i cant set my splash image to the canvas know

    Just check.
    1.What is the dimension of the splash image...please write..
    2.How you draw the images..
    draw like this..
    graphics.drawImage(splashImage,0,0,0);
    3.Have you test the points that I have write in last posts...

    Use it like:

    Display.getDisplay(this).setCurrent(splash); 
    The background colour is used to fill the screen before drawing the image... this covers you for situations where the splash image does not completely fill the screen. The alternate text will appear if the image cannot be loaded (because the image is not in the JAR, it is in a format that the device does not support, or there is not enough memory to load it).
