    How to find out what languages are available on a device

    Greetings,

    I would like to know if device support for example Chinese characters.

    In Symbian we can use CPtiEngine for having all available languages:

    CPtiEngine::GetAvailableLanguagesL( languages );

    Can we get same list in J2ME? Is there any other ways to check, if for example Korean, Japanese or Chinese characters can be found from device's true type font?

    I'm afraid there is no way to find this out.

    You might be able to find the current language setting from:

    Code:
    String locale = System.getProperty("microedition.locale");
    Cheers,
    Graham.
