    Question about menu

    Hi all,

I've been trying to search for an answer for this, but I haven't found any answers. I'm quite new to S60 and mobile enviroment so this isn't propably a big deal.

Problem is, I've made a new "UI" to my own application, simply just drawing a bitmap to full screen. But when I open menu with cba button, the default background shows, or is overdrawn. Can I draw bitmap to that menu bar, or is it possible to make it invisible or something else.

Edit: Guess what I mean is, is it possible to get menu pane transparent, or draw image on it.

    Thank you.

    Re: Question about menu

AFAIK menu drawing is not configurable. 'default background' is driven by skin color. It is deffinitely possible to write own menus but it is bit complicated not worthy.

If you dont want any menu and menu itesm, just dont supply in ur APPUI resource. Your container is contained in what type of UI element AppUI or Dialog or view 'CAknView' class.
