    Re: Invalid jar File

    Hi,
There are so many condition which will leads to invalid jar file some of them are

The MIDlet could be built with approprivate CLDC/MIDP versions, which your phone does not support
The MIDlet could try to use some APIs which are not available on your phone
If possible paste your jad file properties , In which mobile you are trying ?

    Re: Invalid jar File

Post the contents of the JAD file and the MANIFEST.MF from the JAR, along with the model of device.

    Cheers,

    Re: Invalid jar File

OK... we need some more information.

    1. And the JAD? Or are you installing only the JAR?

    2. Did you install the exact same files on both E71s (no rebuild in between)?

    3. What are the firmware versions on the two devices? (key *#0000#) Did you buy them from the same place? Are they operator-branded versions?

    4. Does it work or fail on any other device?

    5. How big is the JAR?

    Cheers,
    Graham.
