if i am not wrong you missed the MMP file change. use some texteditor like NotePad++ then search on your project for old UID then replace. also in some cases you have to change the file names too

Also if u got file I/O error then some file might be missing. check file mentioned at line number in error. And once do clean and build after changing UID.

Re: Changing UID from Unprotected to requested Protected UID

Do one thing if you get wired in changing UID. close solution/project, remove all unnessesary files, check all files and change UID from all files to new one and then import project again, and build them. This might help u.

Re: Changing UID from Unprotected to requested Protected UID

hello, I think i solved my problem-
In my .PKG for 20023E69.RSC i given path "C:\Symbian\9.1\S60_3rd\Epoc32\Data\z\20023E69.RSC" -"C:\private\101f875a\import\[20023E69].rsc"

    But my 20023E69.RSC crated in C:\Symbian\9.1\S60_3rd\Epoc32\Data ?

so after that i modified this path in .PKG to C:\Symbian\9.1\S60_3rd\Epoc32\Data now its build & SIS generated.Successfully.Is there any issue if .RSC generated in different folder. please reply needed to clear my concept.??

No. That should be fine. It depends on the TARGETPATH you have used in your .mmp file for that resource.

Anyways I guess you are following Startup List Management API. You would like to see this Wiki article: How to autostart an application on boot up in 3rd- Startup List Management API
