    Question [moved] Help needed to send a SMS from PC to a mobile phone by using AT aommand

    im using the following comand for sending sms from my pc to mobile. i dont know whats wrong in this... please help me to fix it since i have less time to submit my college project.

    Open "COM9:300,N,8,1,BIN,CD0,CS0,DS0,OP0,RS,TB160,RB160" For Random As #1
    Put #1, , "AT+CMGF=1" & Chr$(13)
    Put #1, , "AT+CMGS=" & Chr$(34) & Val(+919994280836) & Chr$(34) & Chr$(13)
    Put #1, , Left(hi, 123) & Chr$(26)
    Close #1

    As a first try you should rather use some simple terminal application (even HyperTerm can do the job) to see what AT commands are accepted by the devices. I have no experience with the SonyEricsson devices you have mentioned, but S60 2nd edition devices (the Nokia N70) usually do not support SMS-related AT commands.
