    can i do this in java???

    hi,
    I started developing my application in symbian C + + and I find it very difficult;
    but I have an experience in java.
    I dont know if I can do with java??
    the ffonctionalites of my application:
    - Image capture by camera.
    - Encoding / decoding an image
    - Display an image on the screen
    - Send the picture to another mobile by CSD
    It is possible with java??

    I need your help

    Yes, depending on the device. Not all devices with camera will support image capture from Java. Most newer devices will.

    Yes, but at least the encoder you will have to write yourself. There is no standard library for encoding images.
