Question Once again about bluetooth discovery

Is there any way to discover bluetooth devices without writing own discovery code, using internal device discovery mechanism instead.
    I mean:
    1. If bluetooth is off user asked if he want it to be switched on.
    2. Then a list of known bluetooth devices is displayed with "New search" item at the top.
    3. If the list is empty automatic discovery cycle (with ability to cancel it) is started.
    4. When user selected a device from the list, its ID returned o the application.

If BT is OFF, how we are going to make a search? Before using it, we have to put it ON some how.

As I wrote before, Internal bluetooth discovery mechanism asks user if he wants to switch bluetooth on if it is off. I want to use that mechanism.

Good JSR-82 implementations will do issue 1; well I guess you do not use series 40, do you? The rest has to be coded by yourself, unfortunately.
