    how to implenment dropdown list ?

    hi,
    which class among API does support drop down list functionality?
    and which class supports check box?

    I have never used but you can check CEikCheckBox class for check box.

    Also check CAknCheckBoxSettingPage class for checkbox.

    For Dropdown listbox there is no specific API, but u can use any API ListBox with some modification.

    for dropdown u can use CAknListQueryDialog..

    Also u can check for CAknChoiceList..(For 5th edition) if it fits to ur req..

    hey it was displaying a window-owning list and showing all the options with a scroll
    but i wanted non-window owning list and that should show only one option by dropping down which all other options should be shown.

    can u suggest me for this ?

    there's no class namaed CAknChoiceList in the API
    r u talking about s60 3rd edition only?

    CAknChoiceList is introduced in 5th edition. so it is not available in 3rd edition. Use any other listbox class.

    U have not read my first post carefully . Go through my first post I have clearly mentioned abt the supported sdk also given related exp link.

    AFIK there is no direct api for making dropdown for s60. So U can go for some alternative api if they suits to ur req.. like CAknPopupFieldText or as told by savj any list box or popup field classes.
