    Signal interference

We are installing an N30 in a Hospital environment. I order to awoid signal interference on vital hospital equipment, can we move the problem away from the N30 just by adding an external antenna og do we have to install the N30 itself in a secure distance?

    Regards, Lars

    Hi,

Operations of any radio transmitting equipment including cellular phones may interfere with the functionality of inadequately protected medical devices.

Consult the manufacturer of the medical device to determine if they are adequately shielded from external RF energy.

Do not use your terminal in health care facilities when any regulations posted in these areas instruct you to do so.

The use of external antenna reduce the RF signal interference
but the RF signal interfernce depens on the used antenna.

We have not specified any antenna which can be used as a external antenna with Nokia 30 terminal and that is the reason that we can not recommend any secure distance.

So the conclusion is that you need to install the Nokia30 terminal in a secure distance.
