    How to fade the screen?

    Hi,guys.
    could someone explain the mechanism of window-fading?Is it done by window server ?
    I created an always-at-front windowgroup and drew something on part of the screen and want to make the rest of the screen faded ,do I need to copy screen and fade by myself or simply call some function to inform window server ?
    Thanks in advance !

    AFAIk there are no APIs do that . you have to do your self.

    Check if RWindowBase::FadeBehind() will help.
