I am a bit of a noob to python, only been at it a week now but have written my first application.
Its a comic book reader and works pretty well, if I may say so myself the packaged file can be found here http://www.jamiefuller.com
If I run the script in the Python enviroment and try to open a PNG file it works fine. However if I package the same script and run it directly when I try to open a PNG file I get a MemoryError error.
Rather strangly the error produced looks like this http://img529.imageshack.us/img529/6471/scr000094.jpg which looks like its failing in the zip module, but only when extracting 24 bit png files, which is very strange.
I have written a very tiny script here which extracts a single png file from a zip file called test.zip stored on the root of the e:\
It works fine in the editor but not when packaged.
Script file = http://30dbs.nfshost.com/error/prob.txt
Packaged SIS = http://30dbs.nfshost.com/error/prob_v1_0_0.sis
test zip file = http://30dbs.nfshost.com/error/test.zip
Any help would be great.
