    [moved] Oracle to buy SUN!

    As subject...
    http://www.sun.com/third-party/global/oracle/index.jsp

How do you think that this will affect JavaME in the next future?

    Re: Oracle to buy SUN!

    How can we know?

How will it affect Solaris? (Oracle runs on other operating systems.)

How will it affect SPARC? (Oracle runs on other architectures.)

But then, no point buying Sun only to scrap it's products. Oracle might work on other operating systems and architectures than Sun's, but it does rely on Java. So Java must surely be the safest of Sun's products.

Sun bought MySQL some time ago,
    and now Oracle bought Sun...

    mmm...
I can't see anything good in this buying.
